“Love Your Coaching Business”Coaching Group
For Coaches Who Want to Love Their Coaching Businesses as Much as They Love to Coach
Is This You?
- Your heart isn’t in your coaching business, even though you love to coach.
- You know what to do to ‘make your business happen’, but you aren’t doing it, or you have to make yourself do it.
- You are discouraged and you’re starting to doubt that you will be successful as a coach, because you can’t make the business work and it isn’t any fun.
You’ve Tried To Make It Work
You love to coach, but when you focus on marketing, technology, finances, office organization, time management, and maybe even product and service development, your heart just isn’t in it.
You have tried harder, applied more effort and more discipline. You’ve made endless lists of things you need to do to make your coaching business successful. You have designed a number of accountability structures to support you.
It all feels difficult and it yields less than satisfying results.
You have probably started to lose faith in yourself as a business person, even though you know you’re a great coach. You’re getting tired of the struggle.
This isn’t the vision of work that you had when you decided to become a coach, so you decide to look at what thriving coaches are doing, in order to diagnose and fix the problem that you are facing.
Now, here’s how it goes:
- You search for models from coaches who have been successful at making their businesses work.
- You buy their products (books, ebooks, CDs, workbooks). This will give you a roadmap for making your coaching business a success.
- After an initial burst of energy and enthusiasm, you lose interest and motivation. You find your commitment to do the things you know you should be doing flagging. Discouraged again.
- You move into the same cycle again. Hunker down and try harder. Only this time it feels worse. Maybe you really aren’t cut out for it. Maybe you will have to get a job and become a part-time coach.
Why This Approach Doesn’t Work
As a coaches’ coach, this is a heart-breaking cycle to me. I have seen it time and time again. I’ve experienced it myself. It seems like almost an epidemic among coaches who are in the first three years of their businesses.
The reason this approach doesn’t work is that you are going outside for a proven solution to making a coaching business work, and at the heart of that solution is their map, not your map.
What inspires them doesn’t necessarily inspire you.
Their vision for a coaching business isn’t your vision.
The things they love to do to make their business thrive, in marketing, for example, may not be the things that you love to do.
As the ‘proven’ solution doesn’t work for you, things get worse. You get more discouraged when you work hard at what worked for them, and it isn’t working for you. You start to feel like either you aren’t doing it right, or you aren’t cut out for it.
You may also isolate. As coaches, we are a pretty positive lot, and we hate to confess to anyone that it our dream isn’t working. We are embarrassed that we can’t make it work, especially when the ‘proven’ road to success is laid out for us.
At this point, too many coaches continue to struggle, getting into a deeper hole, or they may even give up. They lose faith in themselves and in their vision for their coaching business.
Don’t Give Up!
You can love your coaching business as much as you love coaching.
You just can’t do it using someone else’s map. Even when they are wildly successful.
You need to go inside and recapture your initial heart’s inspiration to become a coach. You’ve probably lost focus on it while you have been building your skills and establishing your business. Without the ongoing feeling of that connection, it’s hard to keep going, let alone thrive.
Re-ignite the power and passion of coaching, yourself as a coach, and your vision for your coaching business. Make that feeling front and center, in everything you do.
Regain faith and trust in yourself, by reconnecting with the knowing that this is your ‘right work’.
Make a true, inner-directed, whole-hearted commitment to your coaching business (not just to coaching).
Let that commitment inspire, inform, and direct you about your ‘true way’, for all aspects of your business. Literally let it tell you what to do when you get up in the morning.
Other successful coaches’ maps now become menus for you, instead of being the map that you hold yourself accountable for accomplishing. They can be very useful in that context.
Then you create your own map, the one that inspires and motivates you internally. That is where the real power to make your business a thriving success lies.
Join a “Love Your Coaching Business” Coaching Group and Thrive
The truth is that it is a lot easier and a lot more fun when you have a coach and a group of colleagues, with a shared intention, to love their coaching businesses as much as they love coaching, than it is to go it alone.
You get the inspiration of your own vision and commitment plus the power of everyone else’s. You ride that wave of energy as you deepen your connection to your dream: for coaching, for you as a coach, and especially for your coaching business.
As you make a whole-hearted commitment to your coaching business, and focus on it, clarity returns. You tap into the flow of inspiration that is deep inside of you and available to you when you re-ignite your passion. You know what the right things are for you to do to create a thriving business. You know the strategies, goals and actions that are in alignment with that commitment.
Your coach and your group support you whole-heartedly in your commitment. We have your back; it’s easier to stretch and get your business ‘out there’. We hold you accountable for claiming your unique dream and creating your business in a way that is absolutely true to you, in every aspect of your business. We don’t let you settle for someone else’s dream, or try to navigate by someone else’s map.
In a coaching group, you get a magical synergy of coaching and master-minding. Your colleagues are committed to loving their coaching businesses too, so you get the inspiration of their ideas as well as your own.
You can feel the power of the group behind your dream for your business. It’s no longer just you, trying to make your business work under your ‘horsepower’ alone.
This is not a business skill-building curriculum or a practice management or marketing program. I assume that you can find such a program if you need one; there are many great ones available. This isn’t the issue for most of us. Most of us know what to do and we just aren’t doing it.
This is a coaching group with a coach, and it is uses the coaching process. You work on the area of your business that you most want to work on, the one that will have you break through to loving your coaching business. You continue to practice the methodology that you learned in the “Love Your Coaching Business” Teleclass.
I start with the assumption that you are creative, resourceful and whole, as a businessperson, as much as you are as a coach. No fixing is required, just accessing the power of all of your resources.
I believe that you have access to the answers you need to create a business that thrives. You just need a methodology, a coach, and some colleagues who are as brilliant as you are to turn up the fire, find those answers, commit to them, and get into action.
This is a practical, hands-on group, where the goal is to take the inspired actions to create a business that thrives, in your own way, and to love it as much as you love coaching.

What: The outcome of this group is for you to love your coaching business as much as you love coaching. When you do, you and the business will thrive. This is not a business skills development program or curriculum. This is for coaches who know the things they should be doing to run an effective business, but they aren’t doing them consistently, effectively, or enthusiastically enough to have breakthrough success, because they don’t love doing them.
In the group, you will:
